History of AIDNET of Greene County

AIDNET was originally set up by The Greeneville/Greene County Ministerial Association and group of concerned citizens for the long term recovery of the August 2001 floods that devastated southern Greene County and East Tennessee. AIDNET is the acronym for Aiding In Disasters North East Tennessee. In 2003 AIDNET was recessed until June 2011 when it was re-activated as the long term recovery group for the April 2011 tornadoes in Greene County. It was renamed AIDNET of Greene County, TN.
